Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor cash inflows and outflows, including petty cash and bank-related activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including expense reports and budget summaries.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors and banks.
  • Prepare reports, letters, emails, and presentations utilizing statistical data.
  • Manage audit and budgeting tasks effectively.

Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Accountant at the Initiative for Right View (IRV). The successful candidate will be tasked with a wide array of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial management of the organization. The following outlines the job responsibilities: Handle full set of accounts, finance, and cash flow processes. Maintain daily transaction records and ensure accuracy. Prepare and verify vouchers for transactions. Manage VAT and TAX returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor cash inflows and outflows, including petty cash and bank-related activities. Prepare monthly financial reports, including expense reports and budget summaries. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors and banks. Prepare reports, letters, emails, and presentations utilizing statistical data. Manage audit and budgeting tasks effectively. Oversee fund management in accordance with project guidelines. Job Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's or Honors degree, with a Master's preferred. At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the NGO sector. Proficiency in accounting software and strong computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
