Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily financial transactions including cash receipts and payments, bank deposits and withdrawals, and accurately record these in the cash book.
• Verify payment vouchers prior to posting in the cash book.
• Post transactions in the ledger from the cash book.
• Oversee all aspects of purchasing and sales.
• Prepare and analyze product-based budgets.
• Create separate budgets and cash flows for each unit of the company, securing approvals from higher authorities.
• Ensure timely payment of expenditures backed by proper documentation.
• Compile and submit monthly and annual financial reports including profit-loss statements and balance sheets.
• Perform bank reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare necessary documents for tax filings including income tax, VAT, and others.
• Gather required documents for auditing processes to verify the accuracy of accounts.
• Conduct farm visits for verification purposes and report findings.
• Maintain updated records of land taxes and various documents related to property ownership.
• Assess financial risks and propose necessary management strategies.
• Maintain a record of payments related to daily transactions with proper authorization.
• Compile weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly income-expense assessments for crops cultivated.
• Organize all documents related to the company’s accounting and licenses to ensure easy retrieval.
• Alert higher authorities regarding any expiring licenses and assist in renewal processes.
• Provide timely and accurate information as per inquiries from government or private agencies while ensuring compliance.
