Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with various financial regulations. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our financial health, supporting budget preparation, and aiding decision-making processes across departments. Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, receipts, and invoices. Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Process accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures. Provide variance analysis and suggest corrective measures. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Prepare for audits and liaise effectively with auditors. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations. Handle tax filings and other statutory obligations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements. Additional Duties: Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
