Responsibilities: Represent Lantabur Group in criminal proceedings, ensuring the company’s interests are protected and all legal risks are minimized throughout any judicial process. Maintain an in-depth understanding of criminal law and regulations relevant to the RMG sector, including compliance and risk mitigation for export-oriented businesses. Advise management and relevant departments on legal options, the potential impact of criminal charges, and strategies for safeguarding the company’s reputation and assets. Prepare, review, and file all necessary legal documents on behalf of the company, including complaints and motions. Investigate cases and collect evidence pertinent to the company’s legal matters. Present arguments, evidence, and witnesses before courts and legal authorities. Negotiate with opposing counsel or regulatory agencies to secure favorable resolutions. Provide ongoing counsel to senior management on evolving legal risks and policy changes. Undertake any other legal assignments directed by top management. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Criminal Law and Legal Practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Critical thinking and research capabilities to analyze complex legal issues. Qualifications: Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Master of Law (LLM). Experience: 5 to 7 years in criminal law with prior exposure to consulting firms or law firms is preferable. Must be enrolled as an Advocate of Bangladesh Bar Council. Located in Dhaka (Uttara East), this position offers a full-time opportunity in an office environment.
