Job Description
About FH Association: Food for the Hungry (FH), registered as FH Association in Bangladesh, is a Christian relief & development organization dedicated to ending all forms of human poverty. Since 1972, we have been working side by side with the world’s most vulnerable populations to provide life-changing resources such as clean water, medical aid, food, and vocational training. We believe that poverty is complex and must be addressed holistically. : We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of AP Admin and Procurement Assistant. This is a Full-Time role located anywhere in Bangladesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various administrative and procurement processes. The ideal candidate should have a background in supply chain management, possess excellent organizational skills, and be able to work independently. Principal Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Collaborate with the Officer – Procurement and Logistics, and the Manager – Area Program. Maintain inventory and asset records for area offices. Ensure all items are accounted for and delivery schedules are followed. Assist with organizing meetings, seminars, and workshops. Procurement Management: Support procurement of goods by communicating with vendors and processing quotations. Check procurement requests for completeness. Track procurement processes and archive related documents. Reports and Records Maintenance: Ensure security of all Area Office records including digital files. Monitor agreements and process payments as needed. Personal Growth: Engage in continuous self-development and maintain professional standards. Safeguarding Responsibilities: Promote prevention of misconduct and raise awareness about safeguarding issues. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) or a relevant degree. Experience in administrative support and procurement management. Age range: 25 to 40 years. 2 to 5 years of experience in NGO or development agencies.
