Job Description
Are you passionate about poverty alleviation and socio-economic development? Village & City Development Society (VCDS) is looking for a dedicated and driven Area Manager to lead our microcredit regulatory authority licensed programs across various districts in Bangladesh. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in rural communities by implementing income-generating programs effectively. As our Area Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the rural microfinance programs in Barguna, Barishal, Gopalganj, Jhalakathi, Madaripur, Patuakhali, and Pirojpur districts. Managing a team to ensure effective program implementation. Analyzing software reports to meet operational and strategic goals. Maintaining compliance with organizational regulations and requirements. Qualifications and Skills Required: Master of Arts (MA) or equivalent education. At least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly within the NGO sector. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Valid motorcycle driving license and ability to drive. Familiarity with managing multiple branches effectively. Age limit: At most 45 years.
