Job Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Test and install biomedical equipment according to engineering instructions and technical manuals.
- Perform monthly checks according to technical manual of all biomedical equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to hospital staff in the operation of biomedical equipment.
- Set-up test equipment for appropriate testing of new biomedical equipment, analyze performance and reliability, and summarize results.
- Develop product documentation as needed.
- Provide oversight for activities of Sub Assistant Biomedical Engineer/Technician.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Test and install biomedical equipment following engineering instructions and technical manuals. Conduct monthly checks on all biomedical equipment according to technical guidelines. Provide technical assistance to hospital staff operating biomedical equipment. Set up test equipment for testing new biomedical devices, analyze performance, and summarize results. Develop product documentation as necessary. Oversee the activities of Sub Assistant Biomedical Engineers/Technicians. Subsidiary Responsibilities: Assist in preparing contracts, proposals, and reports. Conduct complex technical tasks within the unit. Stay updated on trends in biomedical equipment maintenance; recommend advancements as fitting. Collaborate with external contractors; ensure compliance with safety standards. Answer queries from hospital staff and departments. Execute skilled preventive and corrective maintenance using appropriate tools. Coordinate with department supervisors to minimize disruption during maintenance work. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Engineering or related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in biomedical engineering or related domains. Must be within the age range of 22 to 40 years. Motorcycle driving license is preferred. Only male candidates are eligible. Skills Required: Practical knowledge in the biomedical engineering sector.
