Job Description

Parashmoni Shamajik Unnayan Shangstha is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the position of Assistant Branch Manager to join our vibrant team. Manage the monthly plans related to branch progress; ensure the effective implementation of programs while being fully knowledgeable about objectives. Verify loans as per monthly targets and ensure 100% repayment accuracy. Ensure the correct documentation for savings withdrawals and verify transactions against daily debit and credit vouchers. Prepare monthly reports based on numerical data; maintain and update all registers including the MIS and AIS registers to guarantee 100% accuracy. Ensure all loan agreements are properly prepared, complete, and stored, along with necessary documents from members. Effectively manage staff and ensure communication for task delegation. Formulate and stabilize strategies for the collection of outstanding dues. Evaluate staff performance and arrange orientation or training as necessary. Reconcile the cash book with the bank balance and ensure proper account maintenance. Strictly follow all organizational policies, especially during adverse situations. Continually update daily branch accounts and prepare reports regarding discrepancies as they occur. Collaborate closely with the branch manager to discuss and outline your duties and responsibilities. Address members' concerns and carry out issue-based meetings as part of your role. Assist in the formation of new societies and work on loan project verification and overdue management. Before disbursing loans, survey members and assess their eligibility for loans. Follow-up on any discrepancies identified during audits and notify the relevant authority. Maintain flexibility to perform any tasks required in the organization's best interest. Support colleagues in their duties whenever necessary. Be ready to engage actively during natural calamities or emergencies as directed by Parashmoni. Required Skills: Leadership and negotiation skills. Strong management capabilities in micro finance. Excellent public dealing and relationship management skills. Sales and marketing proficiency. Team building and team management experience. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to Honors. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in NGO operations, specifically in Micro-Credit.
