Verify the finished product's quality against customer and market specifications, ensuring our high standards are maintained. Maintain laboratory equipment, which includes calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Support the plant team in improving process efficiency and reducing off-spec production through effective practices. Keep daily lab analysis reports and share findings with management for informed decision-making. Train lab staff in the safe handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment, prioritizing a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and ensure safe disposal of lab waste while guiding and training junior chemists and lab assistants. Attend meetings with management, providing vital technical input to influence strategic decisions. To qualify for this opportunity, you should have: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry. Ideally, 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry or a related business area, although freshers are strongly encouraged to apply.
