Job Description
SETU, a nationally recognized organization in Bangladesh with special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), is seeking an experienced Assistant Director - Finance to join its vibrant team. With a legacy of 42 years serving over 2.00 lac families in the fields of Microfinance, water and sanitation, education, health, and climate change, SETU offers a unique opportunity to work at the grassroots level, ensuring qualitative program implementation.This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the organization. As the Assistant Director - Finance, you will play a pivotal role in:Maintaining comprehensive financial records, including managing all books of accounts, bank accounts, and compliance with TAX and VAT regulations.Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.Assisting in the preparation of various financial reports and statements, vital for organizational transparency and stakeholder communication.Coordinating financial activities and providing regular analyses to management for informed decision-making.Ensuring adherence to the organization’s safeguarding policies, thereby promoting a safe and ethical work environment.This is a full-time position based in our office in Kushtia, with extensive field visits required.
