Job Description
Dressmen, a leading name in the 100% export-oriented garment industry, is seeking a highly qualified Assistant General Manager (Production) to manage our woven tops and bottoms lines. This position is pivotal as it involves oversight of production planning and target achievement based on SAM/SMV standards. Are you ready to make an impact and lead a dynamic production team? Job Responsibilities: Management of woven tops and bottom lines, ensuring production quality and efficiency. Prepare style-wise bulletins to communicate production requirements effectively. Plan production and track achievement of targets as per established norms. Provide technical solutions to the production team for optimal operations. Ensure maintenance of Daily Hour Utilization (DHU) in line with the company’s Quality Policy. Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to recruit and source skilled workers. Motivate workers to enhance productivity and workplace satisfaction. Ensure a safe working environment on the production floor, prioritizing worker safety. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Additional training in Washing, Industrial Engineering or any technical training related to RMG is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the ready-made garment industry is essential. Certification in fire safety training and knowledge in fire safety regulations. Demonstrated physical fitness and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in computer use, particularly in MS Word and MS Excel. Familiarity with RSC (formerly ACCORD) and Nirapon (formerly Alliance) standards.
