Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end import process: LC opening, shipment tracking, customs clearance, supplier negotiations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with global suppliers, shipping agents, C&F, banks, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective imports.
- Analyze international sourcing opportunities, negotiate favorable trade terms, and anticipate market dynamics to gain competitive edge.
- Implement import strategies aligned with organizational and FMCG business goals, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
- Maintain commercial reports, forecasts, and documentation for strategic decision-making at management level.
- Lead and mentor the commercial team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
