Osman Garments Ltd. is on the lookout for an exceptional Assistant Manager – Compliance & Sustainability to join our dedicated team and make a direct impact in the realm of ethical and sustainable practices.Your main responsibilities will involve ensuring that our manufacturing facilities align with local and international sustainability standards, dedicated to compliance with the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC). This role presents an exciting opportunity for professionals who are driven to promote sustainability within the garment industry, leveraging their expertise to effect meaningful change.RSC Sustainability Framework: Implement sustainable practices following RSC guidelines, focusing on safety, compliance management, and ethical standards.Compliance Management: Actively monitor and manage compliance with various certifications such as RSC, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, and GOTS, ensuring that our facilities meet rigorous audit standards.Internal Audits: Support the internal audit processes, ensuring standards required for certifications are met consistently across all locations.Corrective Actions: Manage the implementation of corrective action plans based on audit results to ensure compliance with industry standards.Reporting: Generate and submit detailed compliance reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and accuracy in documentation.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for compliance matters with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear and timely communications.Are you the one?To fit into our vibrant team, you should have:A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering or relevant field.At least 8 years of experience in compliance within the garments or textile industry.Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and compliance regulations.Proficiency in MS Office and capable of effective communication in English.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage various compliance projects under strict deadlines.This is a full-time position based in Narayanganj, with a negotiable salary based on experience and qualifications.
