We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager-Sustainability. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our sustainability goals while working in a collaborative environment. Your role will be pivotal in steering our sustainability efforts towards a greener and more responsible production process. Support the development and execution of the company’s sustainability goals, action plans, and KPIs. Coordinate sustainability programs aligned with national and international standards (e.g., SDGs, UNGC, Higg Index). Monitor compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., ETP, air emissions, waste management). Assist in internal environmental audits and coordinate necessary third-party audits. Collaborate with HR and compliance teams on social and labor standards. Engage with internal departments, buyers, and NGOs for sustainability initiatives. Collect and analyze sustainability performance data across various dimensions. Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct training sessions on sustainability for employees. Promote sustainability culture through campaigns, workshops, and awareness materials. Maintain certification related to sustainability (e.g., BSCI, GOTS, LEED). Coordinate projects like renewable energy adoption and water recycling. Prepare reports and ensure timely execution of sustainability projects. Stay updated on global sustainability trends and propose new innovative ideas. Required Skills: Environmental Compliance and Management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Job Requirements: Age: 28 to 35 years. Education: Bachelor in Environmental Science preferred. Experience: 5 to 10 years in Textile or Handicraft industry. Knowledge of Social and Environmental Audits.
