Education Requirements
BBA or MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM) and professional certifications in Diploma in Social Compliance (DSC) from BIM.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Act & Rules, Codes of Conduct, and local/global compliance standards.
- Oversee welfare management aligned with CSR initiatives.
- Ensure adequate workplace facilities including medical care and recreational activities.
- Monitor welfare facilities in alignment with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) programs.
- Engage in discussions on service conditions and dispute resolutions.
- Handle grievances and disciplinary actions promptly.
- Maintain and update compliance documentation and track KPIs.
- Conduct ESG and social compliance audits.

Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager for Welfare Management at AKIJ Resources. This role entails ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Labor Act & Rules, while also promoting employee well-being. Your key responsibilities include: Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Act, local/global standards, including IMS/ISO and ESG principles. Oversee welfare management aligned with CSR initiatives for promoting a healthy workplace. Ensure adequate essential facilities including ventilation, medical care, and recreational activities. Supervise welfare and compliance committees, ensuring their effective functioning. Handle grievances and disciplinary actions efficiently. Conduct orientation and training on workplace ethics and safety standards. Develop a culture of continuous training on employee rights and welfare. Engage in conducting ESG and social compliance audits. Required Skills: BBA or MBA in Human Resource Management. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Welfare, Compliance, HR, and Administration. Strong knowledge of applicable labor laws and compliance standards. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in documentation and preparing audit reports.
