About the Role The Assistant Merchandiser will be responsible for managing communication with buyers, factory personnel, and various departments within the company. The selected candidate will also need to assist in costing products, ensuring that we meet our buyers’ standards, and oversee the production processes to ensure timely delivery. Communicate effectively with buyers, factory workers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operational flows. Conduct costing of products while following the specific procedures from buyers and ensure pricing negotiations. Monitor production status updates, as well as coordination of sampling and lab dips with merchandisers. Ensure timely and accurate follow-ups on approvals for production and delivery. Collaborate with sample sections to develop samples that meet customer expectations and deliver on time. Oversee all sample developments and production to maintain high responsibility standards and follow through on comments from buyer feedback. Assist the SCM team to source necessary trims and accessories. Maintain strong communication with buyers and suppliers throughout the merchandising process. Ensure execution of orders aligns with the planned Time and Action Plan for punctual shipments. Engage in business development initiatives by fostering new connections with potential buyers. Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications: Age: 24 to 32 years Experience in garment accessories is preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role. Only male candidates are eligible to apply. Must possess knowledge of TC Transfer for OCS, RCS, GRS & TG. Flexibility regarding job roles and timings is essential.
