Job Description
Leading University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Professor (CSE) in our esteemed Computer Science and Engineering department. This is a great opportunity for dedicated individuals who are passionate about teaching and research. Job Responsibilities: Conduct lectures and seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Engage in research and publish findings in respected academic journals. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Provide academic advising and mentoring to students. Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the university. The job demands a strong commitment to education, and candidates must possess exceptional communication skills to engage students effectively. Required Qualifications: PhD or equivalent degree with at least two first classes/divisions/minimum CGPA 3.25 at both Honours and Master's levels. MPhil or equivalent degree with at least two first classes/divisions/minimum CGPA 3.25 at both Honours and Master's. Alternatively, candidates with a 4-year Honours Degree along with a Master's Degree with three first divisions/classes/minimum CGPA 3.25 at both levels will also be considered. Experience: 2 to 3 years in teaching or research relevant to the university setting. Publications will be an advantage according to the following criteria: For PhD holders - two publications are required. For MPhil holders - one publication is required. For Honours holders - minimum two publications required. Skills: Excellent teaching and communication skills, strong research aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and students.
