Job Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, youth engagement, and inclusive governance.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and community-level advocacy events.
  • Participate in field visits to monitor the progress of ongoing activities and provide necessary support to field staff.
  • Assist in mobilizing local communities and engaging marginalized groups, particularly women and youth, in project activities.
  • Facilitate focus group discussions and consultations with community members to gather feedback and input for project improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Maintain records of project activities, outputs, and achievements.
  • Contribute to project narrative and financial reports as required by donors and stakeholders.
  • Assist in producing IEC materials and organizing campaigns.
  • Liaise with partner organizations, government bodies, and local CSOs to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support in coordinating meetings with stakeholders, including project partners and community representatives.

Job Description

Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha, a local NGO in Khagrachari, invites applications for the role of Assistant Project Officer. Under the project titled “Enhancing Marginalised People’s Opportunities With Equity, Rights, Mentorship, and Engagement for Nation-building and Transformation (EMPOWERMENT),” funded by the GFA Consulting Group/FMA and supported by the Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF), the selected candidate will play an integral part in empowering marginalized communities.Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, youth engagement, and inclusive governance.Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and community-level advocacy events.Participate in field visits to monitor ongoing project activities and support field staff.Engage marginalized groups, especially women and youth, in project activities.Facilitate focus group discussions and consult with community members for project feedback.Assist in preparing project reports, presentations, and documentation.Maintain records of project activities and outputs.Support the coordination of stakeholder meetings.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or honors in a relevant field.At least 3 years of experience in an NGO or development agency.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in computer usage including MS Office.Commitment to gender equality and inclusion principles.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.This is a contractual position with 1 vacancy available.
