Job Responsibilities
- Prepare design of steel structure or pre-engineered steel structure using customized software STAAD Pro., ETABS and developing MS spreadsheets for design calculations.
- Connection design with RAM & developing excel sheet.
- Provide inputs for detailing & coordinate with detailers.
- Check fabrication drawing and estimation prepared by detailers.
- Prepare design calculation & report.
- Raise project queries and coordinate.
- Attend technical meeting.
- Site visit to resolve the problems if required.

Job Description
Join Energypac Power Generation PLC as an Assistant Manager in Design and take your career to the next level. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the engineering field and play a vital role in design responsibilities regarding steel structures. As an Asst. Manager, Design, your key duties will include but will not be limited to: Prepare designs for both steel structures and pre-engineered steel structures utilizing specialized software such as STAAD Pro and ETABS. Develop necessary MS spreadsheets for detailed design calculations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project implementation. Conduct connection designs using RAM and create relevant excel sheets to aid design processes. Provide essential inputs to facilitate detailing processes and maintain clear communication with detailers, ensuring high-quality outputs. Review fabrication drawings and cost estimations prepared by detailers to confirm compliance with design specifications. Compile design calculations and reports to facilitate project tracking and accountability. Propose questions related to projects and coordinate with team members for smooth operation. Participate in technical meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and facilitate collaborative efforts. Conduct site visits as necessary to resolve on-ground issues efficiently. Ideal candidates will have: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering. 5 to 7 years of experience in the steel industry, showcasing proficiency in design and analysis of steel structures. Hands-on experience with relevant design softwares including ETABS, Staadpro, and AutoCAD. A remarkable aptitude for using MS Office tools effectively. Aged at least 25 years and prepared to collaborate within a diverse team, as both male and female candidates are welcome to apply.
