We are currently seeking a highly skilled Asst. Manager, Vessel Operation to supervise the operations at our Chattogram and Mongla Ports. We are committed to user satisfaction and prioritize social responsibility, aiming to support local farmers by efficiently managing vessel operations.Oversee and coordinate day-to-day vessel operations ensuring efficiency and compliance.Supervise vessel loading and discharge operations while aligning with stow plans.Manage communication and coordination with port authorities, shipping agents, and internal stakeholders.Monitor vessel performance and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.Conduct personnel management, including shift allocations and payroll accuracy.Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and uphold company safety protocols.Prepare regular operational reports and maintain accurate documentation.Resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly.Engage in financial management including negotiating laytime statements and handling freight payments.Educational Requirements: Candidates should possess either a Diploma in Marine Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the relevant field is essential, with experience specific to Shipping, Logistics, or Group Companies.Skills Required:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong computer proficiency and adaptability.Smart, dedicated, and capable of working under pressure.Leadership qualities with problem-solving aptitudes.Additional Requirements:Understanding of maritime regulations and vessel operations.Proficient in relevant software applications.Knowledge of chartering and vessel accounting is an added advantage.Job Benefits:Travel allowance and mobile bill compensation.Full subsidized lunch facilities.Annual salary reviews.Two festival bonuses, as per company policy.We encourage candidates who meet the above requirements to apply for this exciting opportunity within our organization.
