Job Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose hearing, balance, speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct audiological tests (audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, ABR) and speech-language evaluations.
- Recommend, fit, and program hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices.
- Provide therapy for speech clarity, fluency, voice, and language development.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Manage tinnitus, vestibular (balance) problems, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
- Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on communication and hearing strategies.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists, doctors, psychologists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records, track progress, and prepare diagnostic/treatment reports.
- Conduct awareness programs on hearing conservation, communication development, and related health issues.

Join the dynamic team at Apollo Imperial Hospitals as an Audiologist & Speech Language Therapist. You will be instrumental in assessing and diagnosing hearing and communication disorders. The role involves:Assessing and diagnosing hearing, balance, speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Conducting audiological tests including audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, and ABR.Recommending, fitting, and programming hearing aids and other assistive devices.Providing therapy aimed at improving speech clarity, fluency, voice, and language.Developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients.Managing tinnitus, vestibular problems, and swallowing difficulties.Educating patients and families on communication and hearing strategies.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including ENT specialists and educators.Maintaining patient records and preparing diagnostic/treatment reports.Conducting awareness programs on hearing conservation.Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a relevant field.Experience:2 to 4 years in a hospital setting is preferred.
