Job Responsibilities
- Verify members' accounts and present accurate reports
- Scrutinize all receipts and payments to ensure financial integrity
- Audit loans disbursement policies to guarantee adherence to organizational standards
- Manage and update all registers and prepare detailed reports
- Analyze costs meticulously to conform to budgetary guidelines
- Follow office procedures diligently and compile thorough reports
- Develop an extensive audit plan and evaluate programs based on findings
- Conduct regular visits to all Micro-finance branches for comprehensive audits
- Implement surprise audits and operational reviews
- Discuss audit findings with authorities and recommend necessary actions
- Determine the audit scope and set up annual plans for Micro-finance programs
- Prepare monthly action plans based on annual objectives
- Ensure auditing is done per schedule across various branches of Micro-credit programs
- Maintain organized working papers and documentation
- Prepare and present audit reports reflecting correct financial standings
- Inspect and approve bills and vouchers to verify accounting accuracy
- Analyze cost sheets pre and post transactions
- Review transactions in inter-company registers
- Evaluate internal systems to identify areas for improvement
