Job Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanics and provide technical guidance for automobile servicing.
- Prepare a list of required spare parts and materials for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare and follow a vehicle inspection schedule.
- Document repair statements in the Logbook.
- Collect rates and create comparative statements for spare parts and accessories.
- Physically inspect vehicles before preparing spare parts requisitions.
- Maintain all received and repair statements according to company policy.
- Implement quality control measures for spare parts, lubricants, and all items.
- Oversee the conversion of fuel (Octane/Diesel) to vehicles, if required.
- Monitor and maintain the repair and routine servicing of all vehicle types.
- Verify fuel consumption by checking and controlling the kilometers per liter (KPL) of each vehicle.
- Check and verify the installation, maintenance, and repair of all servicing and spare parts.
- Frequently survey the market to obtain comparative prices for spare parts.
- Analyze monthly cost reports related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
- The candidate should have the capacity to operate an automotive workshop.
- Handle the repair and maintenance of forklifts, loaders, JCBs, buses, etc.
- Lead and monitor the activities of team members, providing necessary guidelines to perform their duties effectively.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance as per the schedule, ensuring adherence by the maintenance staff.
- Evaluate and monitor operational parameters, taking immediate corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure the availability of spare parts for both breakdown and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and implement measures to improve the efficiency of spare parts usage.
- Check and clean all spare parts at the time of vehicle departure.

Perform physical inspections of vehicles prior to requisitioning spare parts. Maintain documented records as per company policy regarding all repairs. Implement quality control measures for all parts and lubricants used. Oversee the conversion processes for various fuels based on vehicles' requirements. Ensure all vehicles receive timely routine services and repairs. Validate fuel consumption metrics and manage operational efficiencies. Survey the market proactively for cost-effective spare parts. Conduct monthly cost analyses related to vehicle maintenance. Skillfully oversee the repair and servicing of forklifts, loaders, and JCBs. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Organize and execute preventive maintenance with compliance from maintenance teams. Identify and implement improvements for spare parts usage. Desired Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a significant role within an automobile workshop or company. Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Familiarity with modern automobile technologies such as hybrids and electric systems. Experience with fleet management software and tracking systems. Strong organizational aptitude for maintaining operational records. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with teammates and external vendors. Knowledge of Bangladesh's transport regulations and safety standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines successfully. Willingness to travel for inspections and repairs when necessary. Job Requirements: Age between 25 to 35 years.
