Job Description
SS POWER I LTD, a leading joint venture between the S. Alam Group of Bangladesh and various esteemed Chinese companies, including SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Limited and HTG Development Group Co., is on the lookout for qualified and passionate professionals to join our expanding team. Our organization stands as one of the largest investments in the private power sector in Bangladesh, particularly noteworthy for our state-of-the-art 2 x 660 MW Coal-fired Super Critical Thermal Power Plant located in Banskhali, near Chattogram. We have an exciting opportunity for a Boiler Engineer. This role is essential as we continue to deliver high-quality power solutions to support the growing energy demands of Bangladesh. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boiler systems. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline operations and enhance system efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks for optimal system performance. Prepare reports on operational data and technical documentation related to boiler performance. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEngg). At least 5 to 6 years of experience as a Boiler Engineer in steam turbine or combined cycle power plants (CCPP). Previous experience in the Power sector is mandatory.
