We are pleased to announce a job opening for the position of Branch Manager (Grade VI, Microcredit). We are looking for qualified candidates who are ready to take on the challenge of leading our microcredit initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation. About RDS: Established in 1993, RDS operates in both rural and urban areas throughout thirteen districts in Bangladesh. Our mission is to empower vulnerable groups, particularly landless and marginal farmers, by facilitating their self-reliance through group formation, training, and income-generating activities. We work in partnership with institutions like PKSF and Bangladesh Bank, and we aim to bring sustainable development to disadvantaged communities. Job Responsibilities: Monitor branch activities, supervise field staff, and ensure that all operations are running smoothly. Conduct weekly/monthly meetings, provide necessary guidance, and compile reports for management. Maintain comprehensive records of branch activities and prepare monthly reports. Implement programs based on specific objectives and visit cooperatives regularly. Oversee loan applications and ensure thorough verification before disbursal. Take necessary measures to recover dues effectively. Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate should have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in NGOs. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and internet browsing. A valid motorcycle driving license. Age Requirements: Candidates should be between 25 to 45 years of age. Experience in microcredit operations and previous work with PKSF will be given priority. Job Nature: Full Time Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh. Salary and Benefits: Monthly Salary: Tk. 34,300 (negotiable after confirmation).
