Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for trims and accessories that align with brand goals.
- Ensure sourcing from domestic and international suppliers, optimizing cost, quality and delivery timelines while maintaining compliance with company standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports analyzing sourcing performance, cost savings and production milestones.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure access to the latest materials and innovations.
- Conduct ongoing research into market trends, competitor products, and providing insights that inform design choices and material selection.
- Proactively identify new materials and techniques to enhance the brand’s product offerings and stay ahead of market trends.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on design objectives, material sourcing, and production schedules.
- Manage timelines for product delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time meeting the expected quality standard.
- Responsible for identifying and tracking vendor capabilities and performance management.
- Evaluate vendors based on compliance and quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost competitiveness.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of all types of yarn, fabric, garments, accessories, and garment construction processes.
- Ability to analyze retail and market trends and adjust product assortments accordingly.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the garments sector. Strong knowledge of fabric, yarn, garment construction, and production processes. Fluency in English and Bangla. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
