Job Description
Islamic Relief Bangladesh is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our Humanitarian Crisis Response Programme. This pivotal role is focused on supporting the protection, safeguarding, and well-being of Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) communities in Cox’s Bazar. As a Case Worker, you will implement critical programs aimed at preventing gender-based violence (GBV), raising awareness through community engagement, and ensuring safe spaces for survivors. Implement awareness campaigns on gender equality and protection, ensuring community engagement at each step. Facilitate training sessions for community volunteers and staff on safeguarding principles and gender-sensitive approaches. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the protection services provided to the communities. Conduct regular assessments and address protection concerns while facilitating case management and referrals. Support financial management and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Participate in seasonal programs and assist in maintaining a secure working environment. Travel frequently to remote project areas, engaging directly with the communities you serve. Document and report on the activities conducted and their impacts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Social Work, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in protection, gender, and safeguarding. Strong skills in project implementation, reporting, and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and engage diverse community groups. Proficient in English and Bengali; knowledge of Burmese language is a plus. Familiarity with statistical software will be beneficial. Valid motorbike driving license preferred. Benefits: Monthly salary range: Tk. 28,694 - Tk. 37,302 with various allowances.
