Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Pan-Asian dishes according to restaurant standards.
  • Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, portioning, and presentation across all dishes.
  • Supervise and guide junior chefs and commis within the section.
  • Take ownership of a specific section of the kitchen (hot kitchen) and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Check the freshness of ingredients and monitor stock levels for the section.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef in developing new recipes and modern menu concepts.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is ready ahead of service and that all dishes are served on time.
  • Monitor food wastage, portion control, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
  • Report equipment issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Uphold discipline, teamwork, and professional behavior within the kitchen team.

Tự Do Restaurant & Cafe is a contemporary Pan-Asian dining destination in Dhaka. We are seeking experienced and skilled Chefs de Partie (CDPs) to join our professional kitchen team.
