Job Description
Kids Campus School, an esteemed English Medium institution operating within the Cambridge curriculum, is excited to announce an opening for a Chemistry Teacher. We are looking for an individual who is not only knowledgeable but also passionate about inspiring young minds. As a significant part of our academic team, you'll have opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and participate in exciting extracurricular activities. Your main responsibilities will include: Delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons for O levels and A levels candidates following the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards. Preparing and delivering well-structured lessons using active, student-centered teaching methodologies. Designing, formatting, and submitting soft copies of question papers, mark schemes, and lesson plans in accordance with academic schedules. Maintaining accurate mark sheets, grades, and student report cards. Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback to both students and parents. Participating in parent-teacher meetings and maintaining open communication with parents/guardians. Providing academic and moral guidance to students, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and confidence. Supporting and mentoring students for CAIE examinations, including mock exams and past paper practice. Collaborating with the academic team to improve curriculum planning, resource development, and school performance. Contributing to extracurricular activities, student events, and school functions. Attending professional development sessions and keeping updated on CAIE syllabus changes and educational trends. The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, with a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry being an advantage. Classroom management skills along with a collaborative spirit. Proficient communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Computer skills for lesson planning and performance tracking. Experience teaching in a school setting for at least 1 to 2 years (Freshers are encouraged to apply).
