Job Description

Preparation of the project schedule and planning to ensure timely completion. Review project plans and specifications to provide feedback on design, scheduling, cost-saving measures, and construction challenges. Oversee site supervision and quality control while leading the construction team effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve any design and construction challenges. Ensure the security and operation of equipment on the job site. Prepare and manage monthly cost forecasts and project deficiency lists. Monitor safety practices and enforce compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ensure all required municipal inspections are performed efficiently. Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders through regular updates and meetings. Skills and Qualifications: BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 12 to 20 years of relevant experience in construction and real estate development, particularly with high-rise buildings. Proficient in BOQ preparation, construction estimating, and project management. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and guide junior team members effectively.
