Job Description
The Child Protection Officer (Case Management) is responsible for supervising Child Protection Case Workers responding to the needs of children exposed to violence, exploitation, abuse or neglect.Case Management SupervisionSchedule and supervise case management meetings at least every two weeks.Conduct weekly supervision meetings with all Case Workers, providing technical advice on cases and psychosocial support.Review staff caseload and ensure they are manageable.Staff and Project ManagementFollow up on Case Workers’ attendance.Ensure regular feedback to the Case Workers.Plan, implement and track budget expenditure.Coordination and RepresentationEnsure regular communication with CM Technical Specialist and Project Manager.Coordinate with support departments for timely procurement.Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.Child ProtectionPromote and ensure CM activities are in line with the Child Protection Minimum Standards.Ensure integration of CM activities in the Bangladeshi child protection system.OtherAdhere to Tdh administrative and logistical regulations.Ensure Tdh Global Code of Conduct is respected.The tasks and responsibilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.Job DetailsType: ContractualWorkplace: Work at officeLocation: Cox's Bazar (Ukhia)Job Nature: This position is set until 31st December 2025, with a high possibility of extension based on performance and funding.
