Job Responsibilities
- Handle export & import documentation including LC (Letter of Credit), TT, Bank Draft, and related commercial papers.
- Maintain communication with banks, customs, shipping lines, C&F agents, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth import/export operations.
- Prepare, check, and submit export invoices, packing lists, GSP, and other shipping documents.
- Follow up UD and BGMEA.
- Follow up with suppliers, buyers, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and documentation compliance.
- Ensure proper monitoring of back-to-back LC, UPAS LC, and payment follow-ups with banks.
- Assist in duty drawback, bond license, and VAT-related documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and finance departments to support on-time shipment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all commercial transactions, correspondence, and reports.
- Support the team in resolving discrepancies in commercial documentation to avoid shipment delays.

Job Description
TSR Apparels Limited is looking for a committed and experienced Commercial Officer to join our team in Dhaka. This role is integral for ensuring smooth operations in export and import documentation and facilitating international trade. About the Job As a Commercial Officer, your primary responsibilities will include: Handling export and import documentation, including Letters of Credit, TT, Bank Drafts, and other related commercial papers. Maintaining effective communication with banks, customs, shipping lines, C&F agents, and freight forwarders to ensure the smooth conduct of import/export operations. Preparing, checking, and submitting export invoices, packing lists, GSP, and other shipping documents. Following up on UD and BGMEA. Coordinating with suppliers, buyers, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and compliance with documentation. Ensuring proper monitoring of back-to-back LCs and payment follow-ups with banks. Assisting in duty drawback, bond license, and VAT-related documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with production, merchandising, and finance departments to support timely shipments. Maintaining accurate records of all commercial transactions, correspondence, and reports. Supporting the team in resolving discrepancies in commercial documentation to prevent shipment delays. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: At least 8 years of experience in the garments sector. A Bachelor's or Master's degree. Strong knowledge of commercial operations, customs bond rules and regulations, and experience in export/import through LC. Excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a Full Time position based in Dhaka (Uttara Sector 10). Salary for the position is Negotiable.
