Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring overall compliance activities including labor law, buyer codes of conduct, health, safety, environment, and sustainability standards.
- Support in facing different types of buyer, social, and certification audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance requirements.
- Follow up on audit findings and take corrective actions in collaboration with respective departments.
- Ensure no child labor, forced labor, or discrimination occurs in the workplace and promote fair labor practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., fire & civil defense, labor office, regulatory authorities) to ensure compliance.
- Monitor workplace safety, hygiene, chemical handling, waste management, and environmental performance including ETP, WTP, and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assist in developing and implementing safety policies, risk assessments, emergency action plans, and awareness training programs.
- Maintain compliance-related records, prepare reports, and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- Participate in initiatives for improving factory conditions, worker welfare, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices in line with local and international standards (e.g., ISO, EMS).
- Support continuous improvement projects in environmental protection, resource optimization (water, energy), and workplace sustainability.
