Job Responsibilities
- Conducting field visits to meet with clients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborating with branch managers to obtain detailed instructions prior to meetings.
- Organizing weekly meetings and ensuring client signatures on resolution documents.
- Recording payment collections, loan proposals, and savings returns.
- Maintaining regular contact with members and conducting issue-based meetings.
- Preparing accurate collection sheets for transactions.
- Working towards expanding membership and improving loan verification processes.
- Ensuring survey data collection on borrowers' capabilities prior to loan disbursement.
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 450 members and 350 clients.
- Supporting colleagues in their tasks as needed and undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned.

As a Credit Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting financial inclusion by facilitating loans for our members and ensuring efficient recovery processes. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting field visits to meet with clients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Collaborating with branch managers to obtain detailed instructions prior to meetings. Organizing weekly meetings and ensuring client signatures on resolution documents. Recording payment collections, loan proposals, and savings returns. Maintaining regular contact with members and conducting issue-based meetings. Preparing accurate collection sheets for transactions. Working towards expanding membership and improving loan verification processes. Ensuring survey data collection on borrowers' capabilities prior to loan disbursement. Managing a portfolio of approximately 450 members and 350 clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in credit control and risk management, and a commitment to fostering public relationships. You should also possess skills in sales and marketing to successfully engage with our members. To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Proven experience of at least 1 year in micro-credit or related fields. Higher Secondary, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree preferred. Age requirement: at least 18 years. Freshers are encouraged to apply. Additional requirements include: Experience in national-level NGOs or PKSF affiliated organizations is a plus. Ability to maintain a valid driving license for personal vehicles is desired.
