Job Responsibilities
- Recover overdue payments from delinquent customers with the help of sales force to ensure healthy cash flow and reduce bad debts.
- Conduct in-depth credit assessments including customer background verification, payment behavior, and financial standing.
- Monitor overdue receivables, defaults, and written-off accounts; escalate issues to management with proper analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare and implement recovery plans including negotiation, settlement proposals, and legal action coordination when required.
- Carry out regular field visits to dealers/customers for physical follow-up and assessment, especially in high-risk or overdue cases.
- Work closely with Marketing, and Sales teams to assess market competition and adjust credit strategies accordingly.
- Liaise with Legal and Credit Control to support recovery efforts under legal proceedings.
- Analyze trends in non-payment, assess risk exposure, and prepare monthly risk assessment reports.
- Ensure all recovery activities are documented accurately shared to supervisor.
- Participate in internal credit meetings and share customer insights and ground-level updates.

Based in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka, we specialize in manufacturing and distributing high-quality wood coatings and products for various retail and industrial sectors.
