Job Responsibilities
- Rigorous supervision of construction works to complete the project in time.
- Preparing detailed estimates, matching them with BOQ and giving instruction to store keeper to raise P.R. after discussion with line manager.
- Ensuring quality of works and taking corrective action if required.
- Taking measurements of all completed works and recording in MB.
- Checking contractors’ bills, petty expenses bills and certifying those.
- Execution of proper care for site safety, safety for workers and preventive measures against accidents.
- Executing daily, weekly and Monthly Work Program from Master Work Program of the project.
- Ensuring wastage control of materials.
- Checking of materials consumption as per program.
- Collecting Architect and Structural working drawings from line Manager.
- Preparation of material quantities as per work schedule & Architectural & Structural drawings.
- Study of Architectural & Structural drawings thoroughly before applying them in the particular construction site.
- Ensure the quality of construction work & quality & consumption of construction materials.
- Checking measurement as per drawings.
- Forecasting material quantity for the ongoing project for a period of every month & preparing purchase requisition as per discussion with the line manager.
- Maintaining correspondence with line manager and other concerns about work progress, material stocks, etc.

Rigorous supervision of construction works to ensure projects are completed on time. Prepare detailed estimates, matching them with the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and instruct the storekeeper to raise Purchase Requisitions post discussion with the line manager. Ensure quality of work and take corrective measures as required during construction processes. Conduct measurements of completed works and document them accurately. Review contractors’ bills, petty expense invoices and certify their validity. Implement safety best practices at the construction site to protect workers and prevent accidents. Execute daily, weekly, and monthly work programs in alignment with the master work program. Control wastage of materials effectively. Monitor materials consumption against the project program. Collaborate with architects to collect working drawings for the project. Prepare material quantity requirements based on schedules and drawings. Study architectural and structural drawings thoroughly before implementation on site. Ensure construction quality and compliance with material usage standards. Accurately check measurements per architectural drawings. Forecast monthly material quantities for ongoing projects and prepare purchase requisitions accordingly. Maintain correspondence with line managers regarding work progress and material stock during project execution. Regularly take field measurements and ensure they align with documented estimates. Prepare maintenance work records and tracking documents. Keep records of various types of documents, including contractors' bills and approved rates. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering. Preference will be provided to graduates from prestigious institutions such as Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and others.
