Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Deputy General Manager - Merchandising at Creative Collection Limited. This crucial position entails managing the merchandising function and working with an array of duties designed to enhance our operational effectiveness. As a Deputy General Manager, you will take charge of key responsibilities that include: Monitoring and sourcing complete samples, lab dips, accessories, and trims from both local and international suppliers, ensuring effective communication with suppliers for pricing and availability. Developing new customer relationships through proactive engagement and service. Utilizing your strong negotiation skills and market survey insights to maximize procurement efficiency. Preparing essential documents such as purchase orders, internal orders, and costing sheets. Ensuring sound knowledge on production aspects, including patterns, consumption, and wash processes. Professionally coordinating with various departments, including marketing, design, supply chain, and production to meet operational goals. Working collaboratively with quality assurance teams to ensure the highest standards of production quality from inception to final product. Overseeing delivery schedules and ensuring that merchandise orders are up to date and progressing as planned. Maximizing production lead times and profit margins while ensuring the team remains efficient and effective. Collecting orders and overseeing shipment follow-ups while maintaining clear communication lines with buyers. Leading your team dynamically in a well-organized manner, fostering a self-driven environment. Handling any other responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements: A minimum of 14 years of experience in garments or group of companies. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Proficient in sourcing, negotiation, and possessing excellent product knowledge. The role is open to both males and females.
