Apollo Imperial Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and skilled Diploma Technician to join our esteemed medical team. As a Diploma Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our medical gas pipeline systems function at optimal performance. Job Responsibilities Installation and Maintenance: Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining medical gas pipeline systems and related equipment in accordance with hospital standards. Daily Monitoring: Check and record pressure levels, alarms, valves, and gauges of the gas supply system to ensure smooth and safe operation. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve faults, leaks, or abnormal functioning in the medical gas lines promptly. Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of pipelines, outlets, regulators, and manifolds to prevent downtime. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with hospital safety protocols, fire safety standards, and relevant medical gas regulations. Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns or failures in the gas supply system to avoid disruption in patient care. Support During Expansion/Projects: Assist in new installations, modifications, or expansion of gas line systems as directed by the department head. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and maintenance records for system inspections, repairs, and replacements. Coordination: Work closely with biomedical engineering, nursing, and facility management teams to ensure uninterrupted medical gas supply to critical units (ICU, OT, etc.). Training and Awareness: Assist in training junior staff or hospital personnel about safe handling and reporting procedures for medical gas systems. Qualifications Education: Required education includes a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Garments, Hospital settings, or with LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas. Skills: Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in emergency situations. Gender: Open to all genders (M/F) for this position.
