Job Responsibilities
- Patient preparation: Explain the ECG procedure to patients and address their concerns.
- Procedure execution: Attach electrodes correctly to the patient's body and operate the ECG machine.
- Monitoring: Observe patients during tests, especially during cardiac stress tests, reporting any changes to clinicians.
- Equipment operation: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of ECG machines to ensure accuracy.
- Documentation: Accurately record test results in patient charts and the EHR system.
- Record analysis: Process ECG readings for physician interpretation.
- Administrative duties: Coordinate appointments to manage workflow efficiently.
- Safety and compliance: Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality regulations.
- Support emergency care: Provide ECG data swiftly during emergencies.

We focus on fostering a professional environment for our staff while ensuring that patient care remains at the heart of what we do.Role Overview:The owner of this role will act as a compassionate, detail-oriented ECG operator specialized in cardiac diagnostics, equipped with the technical expertise to handle ECG equipment effectively.Job Summary:The ECG Operator is a crucial team member who conducts non-invasive tests to measure and monitor the heart's electrical activity. They work under the supervision of cardiologists or medical professionals, ensuring patient comfort and the accuracy of test results.Patient Preparation: Explain the ECG process, addressing any questions and ensuring patient comfort.Procedure Execution: Correctly attach electrodes on patients and operate the machine to capture the heart’s activity.Monitoring: Observe patients during tests and report any abnormalities.Equipment Operations: Perform checks and maintenance of ECG equipment to ensure reliable results.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tests and observations in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Data Processing: Prepare and process ECG data for physician review.Administrative Duties: Manage patient appointments efficiently.Safety Compliance: Follow strict infection control and patient confidentiality protocols.Emergency Response: Provide crucial support during emergencies by giving timely ECG data.Qualifications and Skills:Education: Diploma or equivalent, with preference for candidates from an accredited ECG technician program.Certification: CCT or CET certification is highly desirable.Experience: 5 to 7 years ideally in a healthcare setting.Technical Expertise: Proficient knowledge of ECG operations and rhythm recognition.Anatomical Knowledge: Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy essential for accurate procedures.Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in recording and analyzing data.Communicative Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients.Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret ECG results accurately.Physical Stamina: Should be able to handle the physical demands of the role.BLS Certification: Current certification is often required.Working Conditions: This position requires working at our office located at Sonia Sobhan 5th Avenue, Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka.Job Nature: Full Time, with a focus on collaborative healthcare practices.Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
