Job Description
Jahir Group is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Electrician who is capable of maintaining and operating various electrical systems and equipment. If you're someone who takes pride in your work and is willing to contribute to a dynamic work environment, this job could be for you. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:Working with diesel generators, ATS, lifts, AVRs, air conditioners, gas and electric geysers, water pumps, motors, and solar systems, ensuring their operational efficiency.Maintaining registers and logbooks for relevant equipment, keeping records updated for operational time, maintenance, spare parts, fuel consumption, and technical condition.Completing electrical work such as conduit installations, cabling, and lighting with impeccable finishing.Notifying senior management of any electromechanical faults or issues promptly, and resolving them per their instructions.Recording electricity and water meter readings in registers daily and monthly.Ensuring the cleanliness of electromechanical equipment and rooms daily/weekly/monthly.Having hands-on experience with tools and equipment.Being prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor environments at various sites.Maintaining readiness to work 24/7 in case of emergencies, including nights and holidays.Diagnosing faults in electrical systems and components.Understanding safety procedures related to electrical work.Possessing strong communication and coordination skills with management, seniors, colleagues, and project teams.Carrying out any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.To succeed in this role, you will need the following:Age between 24 to 48 years.A proven track record with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in agro-based firms, poultry, fisheries, or hatchery sectors.Only male applicants are encouraged to apply.This is a Full-Time position based out of Dhaka (Uttara), and we offer a competitive salary ranging from Tk. 15,000 - Tk. 19,000 monthly.
