Job Description
Are you passionate about teaching English and shaping young minds? Yale International School is looking for a dedicated English Language Teacher for students from STD VIII to X under the IGCSE curriculum. Key Responsibilities Conduct ESL (English as a Second Language) classes effectively for students in grades 8 to 10. Prepare engaging lesson plans and lecture materials, actively contributing to the development of the curriculum. Evaluate students’ assignments, essays, and written works to provide constructive feedback. Manage all academic responsibilities including dealing with parents and addressing exam-related duties. Participate actively in school events and extracurricular activities. Required Skills Fluency in both spoken and written English; proficiency in grammar and composition is essential. Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and engagement. Ability to develop a rapport with students and foster a supportive learning environment. Experience with IGCSE or a similar curriculum is a plus. Educational Requirements Master of Arts (MA) in English is required. Experience Required 2 to 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Experience in educational roles that involve curriculum development will be an advantage. Additional Requirements Ages between 25 to 35 years. Candidates from English medium backgrounds will be given preference. Must be willing to travel regularly to Uttara (Sector # 14).
