Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify workplace hazards, and implement effective preventive measures.
- Review and update OHS and compliance policies in line with both local and international standards.
- Organize and conduct safety training and awareness sessions for all employees.
- Investigate workplace incidents, document findings, analyze root causes, and ensure corrective actions are applied.
- Monitor unsafe acts, assess equipment safety, and manage hazardous substances to uphold workplace safety.
- Prepare and maintain compliance/audit reports for various standards (BSCI, SEDEX, GSV, Alliance, etc.).
- Oversee hygiene, safety, and environmental conditions across factory premises.
- Liaise effectively with auditors, buyers, and government bodies to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and follow-up on corrective action plans (CAPs).
- Ensure a disciplined, supportive, and positive workplace by fostering good relations among workers.
- Perform other compliance and safety-related tasks as assigned by management.

This position is crucial in ensuring our operations comply with all legal regulations and internal policies related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and environmental standards. At least 3 years of experience in a similar compliance role, preferably within the Manufacturing (FMCG) or Plastic/Polymer industry. Knowledge of labor law, organization skills, and social compliance issues. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
