OTOBI Limited, a leading furniture manufacturing and marketing company in Bangladesh, is looking for an Executive – Planning (Manufacturing) to join our dynamic team. The role is based in Dhaka (Shyampur) and is a full-time position with two vacancies available. As an Executive – Planning, your key responsibilities will include: Assist in the mechanical design and engineering of furniture products, leveraging your expertise in materials such as metal, wood, plastic, and composites.Transform conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings utilizing CAD software.Support prototyping efforts, which will involve the assembly and evaluation of products.Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to enhance fabrication and assembly processes.Create jigs, fixtures, and custom tooling that enhance operational efficiency and uphold product quality.Identify challenges during machining processes and provide efficient solutions to minimize downtime.Communicate with team members and supervisors to foster an efficient working environment.Maintain detailed records of production outputs, machine settings, and quality checks.Monitor the attendance and leave records of your subordinates to ensure optimal workforce management.Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management. To thrive in this position, the ideal candidate should possess: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.1 to 5 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing sector.Effective verbal and written communication skills.A collaborative attitude and “can-do” mindset.The ability to work under pressure with self-motivation and enthusiasm.
