Job Description
Starlight Sweaters Ltd., a respected name in the apparel industry, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive/Sr. Executive (QMS) for our esteemed factory focusing on quality management systems (QMS). This role is crucial for ensuring that we continue to meet high-quality standards throughout our production processes, from warehouse operations to final shipment. In this position, you will: Follow up, monitor, and supervise QMS requirements. Run a successful QMS throughout the manufacturing unit, ensuring all quality parameters are met. Lead quality control initiatives across knitting, linking, and finishing operations. Train quality inspectors and staff on basic quality requirements and policies. Develop and maintain the quality SOPs and manuals to enhance quality management. Implement total quality management strategies for continual improvement. Conduct QMS/Technical audits, collaborating with section heads. Maintain thorough documentation and SOP adherence in quality management. Manage and oversee the inspection of trims and accessories to minimize defects. Oversee the sample department ensuring timely submissions and adjustments for improved productivity. Monitor the quality departments in Knitting, Linking, and Finishing. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This is a Full-Time position based at our office in Gazipur. As a qualified candidate, you must meet the following requirements: Education: Bachelor/Honors degree in a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a quality management role, particularly in the sweater or apparel industry. Age: At least 30 years old. Skills: Fluency in English (both written and spoken), proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with strong interpersonal skills. Additional: Experience as a QMS Auditor, strong leadership qualities, and ability to conduct reports and audits effectively. Gender: Open to Males and Females.
