Job Description
Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) is calling for applications from qualified candidates for the position of 'Field Data Collector' to conduct the 'Corruption in Service Sector: National Household Survey 2025'. This is a contractual position with excellent opportunities for young individuals eager to contribute to research in governance and anti-corruption efforts. The responsibilities and details include:Conducting surveys as instructed in designated areas.Storing collected data in specific mobile applications.Maintaining regular communication with field supervisors and providing updates on all matters.Reviewing collected data to ensure accuracy and correctness.Executing any survey-related tasks as assigned by the head office.In addition to the above, candidates must meet the following requirements:Age limit: between 22 to 35 years.A bachelor's degree or equivalent is mandatory; candidates with degrees in social sciences will be given preference.No third division or GPA below 2.0 (SSC/HSC) and CGPA below 2.5 (Bachelor's/Master's) will be accepted.Experience in governance and corruption-related surveys is preferred.Candidates must have a good command of MS Office and experience with mobile applications for data collection.Must possess an Android smartphone with a minimum screen size of 4.5 inches and 4G support, and must ensure adequate battery life.Selected candidates will undergo initial training and will be evaluated for final candidacy based on performance. The project duration is typically from November 2025 to December 2025 and may involve fieldwork for a maximum of 45 days.Additionally, the job offers various benefits:During training, all candidates will receive a daily allowance of BDT 400.Fieldwork offers a daily allowance of BDT 800, accommodation allowance of BDT 700, meal allowance of BDT 750, and travel allowance of BDT 350. Note that travel allowances are not applicable on weekends or holidays.Monthly mobile phone and internet allowance of BDT 400 each.Reimbursement for transportation costs as per TIB guidelines.Please note that no upfront allowances will be paid.
