Job Responsibilities
- Implement tree plantation, fencing setup, nursery set-up, and land preparation for tree plantation.
- Conduct data collection and facilitate community group formation.
- Facilitate bi-monthly meetings with community groups and follow up on group activities.
- Organize training events for beneficiaries.
- Develop community action plans and conduct household and field visits for monitoring and support.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including meeting minutes and case studies.
- Maintain stock registers for field operations.
- Communicate regularly with senior management via mobile and internet.
- Liaise with local government and community stakeholders.
- Oversee community caretaker management and assist project managers as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in mangrove tree plantation and community engagement.
- Strong training and facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in reporting and documentation.
- Ability to drive a motorcycle and proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet browsing).
