Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate group member selection at village levels and formation of CSOs at Union levels.
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Development Plans (FDPs) and Business Development Plans (BDPs) by group members.
- Organize training on income-generating activities, health, and hygiene.
- Provide technical support to enhance income and production.
- Conduct weekly group and monthly CSO meetings.
- Manage weekly savings documentation and home visits.
- Engage in dialogue with local authorities and support animal health workers.
- Sensitize group members about climate change.
- Support disaster management initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to organizational safeguarding policies.
Required Skills

Job Description
Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a leading national voluntary social welfare organization working to empower civil society and vulnerable groups in the context of climate change through its project SRIJAN. This initiative aims at strengthening participants’ resilience and adaptive capacities within Bagerhat district, Bangladesh. We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Field Facilitator. If you are passionate about community work and ready to take on significant responsibilities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Job Responsibilities:Coordinate the selection of group members at village levels and facilitate the formation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at the Union level.Assist in the preparation of Financial Development Plans (FDPs) and Business Development Plans (BDPs) by group members.Aid in acquiring productive assets for community members.Organize training sessions covering income-generating activities, health, and hygiene.Provide technical support aimed at boosting income and production capabilities.Conduct weekly group meetings in villages and monthly CSO meetings at the union level.Manage weekly savings documentation and regular home visits.Engage with local authorities and support animal health representatives.Conduct sensitization sessions regarding climate change impacts.Ensure application of technical support in disaster situations.Uphold the organization’s policies related to child safeguarding, and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).Job Requirements:Degree: Bachelor's or Honors in any relevant discipline.Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.Able to work with diverse groups and backgrounds (M/F).Age limit: At most 40 years old.Good command of report writing in both English and Bengali.Basic proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.Benefits:Monthly salary: Tk. 25,000 with additional benefits based on organizational policy.Qualified candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially women.
