Job Description

A renowned sourcing office based in Dhaka is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fit Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Fit Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and fit of our products, collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, buyers, and design teams.Job ContextIn this position, you will work directly under the guidance of the Senior Sourcing Manager and the Technical and Quality Assurance Manager, who are based in Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that garment fit and quality meet international standards, influencing our success in the global market.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be accountable for several duties, including:Demonstrating knowledge of women's garment materials and their functionality.Maintaining and improving layouts in production stages for efficiency.Conducting fittings for various garment stages such as Proto, Fit, and PPS.Assessing risk and identifying critical processes during production.Facilitating overseas virtual fitting sessions and navigating real-time communication.Publishing and sharing comments in PLM software after reviewing garment specifications.Ensuring pattern accuracy in collaboration with our Technical Team.Participating in PP meetings and reviewing production runs for new vendors.Tracking improvements and accumulating new garment fits.Collaborating with QA teams for quality enhancements and final inspections.Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.Experience: At least 7 years of experience as a Fit Technician, ideally for a European young ladies’ brand.Skills Required: Strong knowledge of textiles, garment technology, and fit assessment.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively across cultures.Fluent in both written and spoken English.Must be aged between 30 to 50 years.What We Offer:Competitive salary – Negotiable.Weekly two holidays, gratuity, and insurance.Mobile bill support and yearly salary reviews.Festival bonuses – two times a year.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a leading sourcing office, we encourage you to apply.
