Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of food products
- Execute pesticide residue and moisture content analysis
- Verify compliance with quality packaging standards
- Assure products meet shelf-life and stability criteria
- Accurately document test results
- Prepare weekly reports for management
- Maintain Certificates of Analysis for released batches
- Immediately report discrepancies and non-conformities
- Supervise hygiene and sanitation in production

Job Description
Europial BD Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food QC Officer to ensure the highest quality standards in our food production processes. If you are passionate about food safety, quality assurance, and have an analytical mindset, this job could be the perfect fit for you! As a Food QC Officer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out routine microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Conducting pesticide residue, moisture content, acidity, salt, and pH analyses where applicable. Verifying packaging quality, including sealing, labeling, and glass/jar inspection. Assisting in shelf-life and stability testing of products, specifically pickles, sauces, and dried fruits. Recording all test results accurately in QC logs and databases. Preparing daily/weekly test reports and submitting them to the QC Manager. Maintaining Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for batches released. Documenting and escalating any deviations or non-conformities immediately. Monitoring hygiene and sanitation practices in the production area. Checking raw material deliveries for compliance with specifications. Participating in mock recalls and traceability exercises. Providing real-time feedback on quality issues to production teams. Reporting directly to the QC Manager and following testing schedules. Cooperating with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to address quality-related issues. Providing training to workers on basic hygiene and food safety practices as needed. Preferred Experience: Experience in the production of sauces, pickles, or dried fruit is preferred. The candidates are expected to have at least 3 years of experience within relevant fields such as Manufacturing (FMCG), Science Laboratory, and Food (Packaged). We value education and prefer candidates with: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science & Technology Master of Science (MSc) in Food Science & Technology Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology Additional qualifications such as HACCP certification, FSSC 22000 certification, and certification in Microbiological Testing are also desirable.
