Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the operation of Accounts & Finance functionalities of the Group.
- Update monthly bank accounts and prepare reports for the management.
- Monitor and guide team members for timely preparation of Reconciliation Statements.
- Good knowledge about International banking and trade.
- Prepare official letters in English to the Bank for LC and Banking purposes.
- Manage annual external audits & liaise with auditors.
- Prepare required returns and liaise with Government offices and Banks.

Job Description
Deshbandhu Group is seeking an experienced General Manager for our Accounts & Finance department. This is a vital leadership role that oversees the entire finance operation of our organization. Our successful candidate will possess considerable financial acumen and the ability to inspire the team to achieve excellence. Job Responsibilities: Supervise the operation of Accounts & Finance functionalities within the Group. Update monthly bank accounts and conduct bank reconciliation, preparing relevant reports for management. Guide the team members in preparing Reconciliation Statements related to finance & accounts in a timely manner. Foster deep knowledge about International banking and international trade. Prepare various official letters in English for Banking and LC purposes. Manage annual external audits and liaise with auditors effectively during the audit period. Prepare and submit required returns to NBR, Customs, and Bangladesh Bank, and liaise with Government offices, Banks, and Insurance companies. Handle additional tasks assigned by Management. Required Skills: Advanced skills in written & communication in English. Knowledge of Bangladesh Tax and VAT regulations. Superior problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. CA-CC is mandatory; FCA will be preferred. Education: Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting. Work Experience: 15 to 20 years of experience in relevant fields. Experience in Manufacturing (especially FMCG), Food and Beverages, Group of Companies, Plastic/Polymer Industry, and Cement. Additional Requirements: Candidates should be at most 45 years old. At least 3 years of experience as General Manager in Accounts & Finance in any Manufacturing industry.
